We are registered for government funding for the over 3′s and accept all employer childcare vouchers and schemes. For those parents that pay for their childs place we have a policy to keep our fees as low as is possible and therefore offer an affordable childcare option (we are a non-profit making charity). The current fee is £6.20 per hour and £6.20 for lunch club and there is also a notional 10p charge for each childs snack.
We reveiw our fees every September and any increases are cummincated to our parents/carers for implementation from the following January.
The free entitlement for most 3 and 4 year olds is 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. Parents may divide their free entitlement between a maximum of two settings and we can help facilitate this. Any hours attended over the 15 hour free entitlement will be charged at the normal hourly rate. Children become eligible for free funding the term following their 3rd birthday and we will guide you through the process of claiming the entitlement for your child.
From September 2017 some children will qualify for the new 30 hours funding per week (for 38 weeks of the year) – we
are able to offer 28 hours childcare each week – please speak to Julie or Vicky for more information on how to access
this additional funding.
Parents who are required to pay fees will receive an invoice on a monthly basis and payment can be made by cash or cheque directly to playgroup, by on-line banking (BACS) or by employer childcare voucher schemes.
All the information regarding fees and funding will be explained to you in your welcome pack when your child starts at playgroup.
